Espen Hammer (Essex) has edited a new book on German Idealism: Contemporary Perspectives (Routledge, 2007) that is coming out next week. Check out Amazon. The contributors are quite distinguished: Stephen Houlgate, Sebastian Gardner, Paul Redding, Andrew Bowie, Richard Eldridge, Jay Bernstein, Frederick Beiser, Paul Franks, Robert Pippin, Fred Rush, Manfred Frank, Terry Pinkard, Robert Stern. I read a draft of Bernstein's essay on Fichte and the body, which alone is reason to get a hold of this edition.
